This safe wave and swimming lagoon is stinger and crocodile free, covering an area of 4,000 square metres, including a shallow water play area for younger children.

The Wave Lagoon rolls out 10 different wave patterns, from gentle swells to waves up to 1.2 metres high, perfect for boogie boarders. There is a 20 minute break in-between each cycle.

The lagoon depth is 2 metres at its deepest point, sloping up to the wet edge. The water is chlorinated salt and the lagoon has a concrete bottom.

Open 10am – 6pm daily, the Wave Lagoon is one of Darwin’s most popular attractions.
